Ostindia has been voted for the dinnerware of the century by the Swedish people. The series was inspired by an ancient Chinese porcelain fragment found on a wrecked ship outside Gothenburg in 1746. 186 years later, the Chinese fragment was the model of the new dinnerware of Rörstrand with its now classic design.
