Pleat Salt Cellar from Stelton is designed by the German design trio Böttcher Henssler Kayser, and their ambition was to create simple but original products without unnecessary details. The grooves give the salt cellar a stylish expression, and at the same time creates a good grip. The lid protects the salt when not in use, and is easy to lift off when needed.
About the brand
Stelton is a portmanteau of the names of its founders, Niels Stellan Høm and Carton Madelaire. Established in the 1960s, Stelton first gained international acclaim in 1967 following the release of the Cylinda line of products. The Cylinda line became popular because of its avant-garde and timeless design which did not compromise on functionality and affordability. Since then, Stelton designs products by following the four tenets closely.
